Just an Update!

Ways of dealing with Virus

  • Can goods ~ have a longer shelf life
  • Paper products
  • baking supplies
  • water ~ bottle
  • sanitizers

I know everyone knows this by now but just wanted to post these item ideas. I began making meals to last about 3 days for dinner, these meals are easy and low cost and easy to spead over a few days for me. As a kid born in the 1940’s my parents were teens in the great depression of the 1930s, and knew how to make things to last a little longer when things were tough.

These things are passed down and it’s times like this that you need to put it to the test, I began making my own bread right before this virus entered the country, so 2 weeks ago the stores ran out of stock and me and other familys couldn’t find the food we needed when we needed it a scary time.

It was like that for over 2 weeks here where I live then the stores began to begin food rationing depending on the items, most here are 2 per costumer. and with security guards to keep it civil and most people are doing their part.

It’s very hard staying in the house all day but I have underlying health problems so can’t chance it, I been going for short 15 minute walks once a week about 5 blocks and back but that’s it as hard as it is being cooped up. But I always ware a mask and I saw many who didn’t use one but that may be in part because they are in short supply.

I hope you and your family stay safe and remember we will get through it. Bob
