Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded coconut
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- Jelly beans or small candy eggs
Directions:
In a bowl, mix the shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Stir it until it’s sticky and well combined.
Scoop out small handfuls and place them on wax paper.
Use your fingers or the back of a spoon to press a little dent in the center—like a nest.
Drop a few jelly beans into each one.
Let them sit and firm up for about an hour. If you want them firmer faster, pop them in the fridge.
The feel of it:
These are soft, sweet, and chewy—real old-school Easter candy. The kind you’d see sitting on a plate in the kitchen while the kids are running around with baskets.

(Sweetened condensed milk is the big hitter here)
