A Holiday Affair is a wonderful film, romantic and just a Joy to watch! Starring Janet Leigh and Robert Mitchum. Janet portrays a widowed mother of a 6 year old son at the Christmas holiday in 1946. And she is engaged to a Lawyer, Carl and she buys her son Timmy a train set from at Crowley’s department store, and the salesman is Robert Mitchum one thing leads to another, and the fun takes off from there, I really enjoyed this warn and delightful film I recommend it!

what can you say about this holiday classic!, it’s a thing that makes you think “What would life be” if you were never born, how would other people in your life change?

This film lets you do that, and see how special our lives really are! It’s a timeless story of George Bailey and the savings and loan on the edge of closing and Mr. Potter trying to take over the company.

And things get worse for George, till Clarence the Angel joins in and helps to show George he has a lot to live for! And the whole Town chips in to help George.

Miracle On 34th Street Is My Favorite of all the holiday films! It was made in 1946 and tells the wonderful story of how a jolly old man comes to be Santa in the Macy’s day parade and changes peoples lives as he does! Although Doris “Miss Maureen O’Hara” doesn’t think the man is really Santa, he gives them reason to think otherwise.

So after his Lawyer, “John Payne” Gets him out of a a jam and the case goes to court and it doesn’t look good for Santa, it’s the kids who write tons of letters that are sent to the court to prove that yes! indeed he truely is the one and only Santa!

These are just a few of the great holiday films to view above, my others are Elf, with Will Farrow and I’m hoping they don’t make another one because most don’t measure up to the first! Keep it a classic the way it is. I also like the film Scrooge the version made in 1951, it’s a classic tale of what’s important in life!

And I really liked “Christmas with the “Kranks” With Jamie Lee Curtis and Tim Allen. A fun movie that has Tim being a scrooge at work, and plans a get-away for him and his wife, and not give out their normal gifts as always at Christmas at the office. Has cause problems with his neighor’s at the same time!
