Back in 1957 my friend Buddy and I liked two Girls who were in like the 6th grade, so we finely got up the nerve to ask them if it would be ok to come over the one girl’s house that was located a few blocks away to listen to some records on the record player!

The one girl was named Donna, but I can’t recall the other girl’s name, so anyway we agreed to meet the next day after school so Buddy and I went and both girls were there and we all listened to some records by Elvis, Ritchie Valens, Buddy Holly, and a few others if I remember it right.

We had some soda and snacks and we stayed about 2 hours and said thanks for letting us come and that was it, we saw the girls around school but just said hello but it’s one of those memorys that sticks in your mind over the years and you never forget.

Yes, once upon a time four friends created a memory in the happy days of the 1950s!
