Today marks a sad day in history it’s been 42 years since Elvis Presley passed away. I have great memories of Elvis when he was on the charts in the 1950s, and he was the one who got me to really want to play and sing rock and roll music, that I still do today, and with all the wonderful other artists on the scene it was here to stay!

Rock and Roll was begining to take form around country with Bill Haley and the Comets begining in 1954 and it just rolled from there a explosion of great music! Thanks again Elvis for the great music!
