1957 he began his rock and roll career he became a teen pop star, and he had 53 songs on the billboard hot 100 between 1957 to 1973, and in 1958 his “Poor Litte Fool” hit hit #1 in the bill boards hot 100, he also recorded “Hello Mary lou” “Traveling man”as well as others.
