I remember watching Davy Crockett on TV in the 1950’s starring Fess Parker and Buddy Ebsen a five-part serial which aired on ABC from 1954–1955 in one-hour episodes on the Disneyland series.

I wanted to get a racoon hat just like he wore so bad much like lots of other kids did back then, it was a great miniseries and a nice memory from a great time of early TV and I still want that hat! lol
