Shirley Jackson, a.k.a “The Queen of Horror”, is best know for two short novels, “The Haunting of Hill House” and“ We Have Always Lived in the Castle”, both of which have been adapted for the big screen. She is also known for her short story, “The Lottery” which is part of high school curriculum across the US.

Ray Bradbury, American author and screenwriter who is famously known for his novel “Fahrenheit 451” which hit the big screen in 2018. Ray is also known for his science fiction story ,”The Martian Chronicles” and his published short story , “The Meteor” inspired the 1953 horror film entitled,”It Came From Outer Space.”

Dr. Seuss, undoubtably the most well known and loved children’s author the world over. He is most famous for his book, “The Cat in the Hat.” Over 200 million copies have been sold worldwide.

E.B. White, Author of the classic tale “Charlotte’s Web” A childen’s favorite! With color illustrations by “Garth Willams,” E.B.White also authored “Stuart Little” and “The Trumpet of The Swan”.
